Tax Incentives - New Mexico

New Mexico offers an alternate energy product tax credit of 5% of a taxpayer's qualified expenditures for fuel cells using renewable fuels. They also offer a bond program for financing fuel cells for state government or school district buildings.

Policies continue to be added and changed.  A couple of good sources for current tax incentive information is available through the Database of State Incentives for Renewable Energy website, www.dsireusa.org/ and FuelCells.org www.fuelcells.org/dbs/index.php.

This map shows States having fuel cell tax programs in green. Click on each state for information.
